What I've been working on

Ciao a tutti! Fresh from Italy's dramatic penalty shootout win in last night's Euro 2021 match against Spain, I thought I'd give a quick update on what's been keeping me busy recently. For the past few weeks I've been working on a large user manual for a company's sales/CRM system. The company is based in Italy but is rapidly expanding its locations around the world, so it's been exciting to play a (small) part in that. Since the document is a user manual, my main focus has been on making the translation succinct and easy to understand, and on ensuring that terminology is consistent throughout.
This work has been complemented by a few more creative projects – I've recently started working with a new agency based in Italy, and they have entrusted me with several newsletters for a stylish shoe company. These feature various idiomatic turns of phrase, which it's been nice to spend time pondering, and the feedback from the agency so far has been great. Hopefully our collaboration will continue onwards and upwards.
If you're interested in working together on localising documents from Italian or French to English, feel free to get in touch.
